In 2015, I had the opportunity to pursue my passion for candy-making and started a small home business called Chocolate Infusion. With the help of my family and friends, I began selling caramels and chocolates at a few holiday events in the Treasure Valley. Over time, our hobby evolved into a full-time business.
While I am the primary candy-maker and the face of our business it is truly a family affair. The support and hard work that happen behind the scenes are crucial to our success. We are a close-knit team, and we take pride in our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Why Bluebird Confections?
When we decided to set up shop in Caldwell, Idaho, we knew we needed a name that would do justice to our love for handcrafted small batch caramels and chocolates. So we put on our thinking caps and came up with the perfect fit: the mountain bluebird - Idaho's cheerful state bird. And in July 2020, we opened our doors!
We're all about sourcing locally and bringing the flavors of the Pacific Northwest to our sweets. Whether you're a chocolate fiend or a caramel connoisseur, we've got something for you. We're always experimenting with new flavors, but we're also sticking to the recipes that got us started and keep our customers coming back for more.
We named our shop Bluebird Confections because it embodies everything we're about - our business, our love for Idaho, and spreading joy one tasty bite at a time. We're a family-run shop, and we're passionate about what we do. We hope you love our sweets as much as we love making them!
